Our Mission
When it comes to knives and tools, our goal is to make things that people will really enjoy using and feel like they got a great deal on what they bought. Some are for adults and others are for kids (of all ages).
While most of our knives are very utilitarian, they are also very innovative. The lock mechanism on the NIRK is patent pending and is both the simplest and the most elegant lock ever developed. It's easy to use and very light weight.
Nathan's Wooden Knife Kits are another great product because they not only give a youngter the feeling that he's just like 'Uncle Bob' with his pocket knife, it also provides an opportunity to learn some basic woodworking skills in the process.

Meet Glenn
Glenn is a knife and tool designer who lives in Silverton, Oregon. He graduated from the University of Michigan as a Mechanical Engineer and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps during Desert Storm. Since then he has worked as a product design engineer with a number of design and utility patents to his name for numerous products, the most recent of which is the award-winning NIRK Knife Lock Mechanism. Currently he works as a Senior/Technical Designer on Defense related products and continues to design knives and tools for CRKT.
Meet Nathan
Nathan is an energetic young boy who loves to make things and is always inventing new ways of doing things. His favorite past time is making up new super heroes and drawing knives and tools. He also loves to do projects like tearing something apart that isn't working and turning the parts into something completely new. Nathan recently designed the "Nathan's Wooden Knife Kit" with his Dad for CRKT.
